Brass is layered: metals ride in on the water, yellow oxidation builds in the fibre, and fresh minerals reattach with every wash. K18 describes this as the first triple-action purple shampoo, because it is built to hit all three brass-makers in a single wash.

The triple action

• Step 1, ionic detox: lifts away the metals and minerals that set brassiness up in the first place.
• Step 2, precision violet: Acid Violet 43 pigment neutralizes yellow and orange tones without staining the hair or over-toning it. This is toning, not colour deposit.
• Step 3, biopolymer defense: sodium polyaspartate, a biopolymer that helps keep dissolved metals and minerals from reattaching to the hair mid-wash.

• One wash removes up to 3 months of hard-water brass.
• Foam format: 2–3 pumps, worked through wet hair.
• Leave it 1–3 minutes, once a week at most.
• All hair types; made with blondes in mind, from highlighted to fully lifted.

How to use

• Dispense 2–3 pumps and work into a foam on wet hair.
• Leave for 1–3 minutes (3 minutes maximum).
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Use once a week at most.
